Building Entrance Modifications - Queen Elizabeth Power Station
A major plant expansion is planned for Queen Elizabeth Power Station with construction scheduled to begin in the fall of 2012. The expansion includes the addition of three more 30 megawatt gas turbine generators; a 100 megawatt steam turbine; various buildings and other related infrastructure. QEPS is located at 2211 Spadina Crescent West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Scope of Work The Contractor will supply all labour, equipment, goods and materials necessary to modify the Queen Elizabeth Power Station ‘B’ Plant building structure to install two new overhead doors and two new man doors. SaskPower will be responsible for relocating and/or removing all piping, conduit, cables, etc. from wall areas where the four doors are to be installed.
There will be a Mandatory Site Meeting held at the Queen Elizabeth Power Station on August 22, 2012 at 10:30am. This opportunity can be downloaded at www.merx.com/saskpower. TENDER DOCUMENTS, PLANS AND ALL AMENDMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY THROUGH MERX DISTRIBUTION. ANY BID FROM A BIDDER WHOSE NAME DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE OFFICIAL MERX DOCUMENT REQUEST LIST (I.E. WHO HAS NOT DOWNLOADED THE DOCUMENTS THEMSELVES) MAY BE DECLARED INVALID.
